Lows of 25:

Dealing with real anxiety for the first time
Weight I was not pleased with (gotta be real)
If you have never done “highs & lows” it can be really eye opening. My friend Sarah introduced me to it a long time ago. If anything, it shows me what I have to be thankful for. My low’s list for this past year is VERY short compared to the highs.
Starting this blog is one of the best things I have ever done for myself because I can go back and look at my thoughts and memories from years ago. Some of you may not know that I started blogging years and years ago at stylewithcase.blogspot.com. I love going back and looking at the things I was saying then. LOL
Encouragement to leave you with: Follow your dreams, do something to ignite passion in your life, strive to have childlike faith and don’t be afraid to ask for help (from God and others).
How I am doing these things?
- Follow your dreams: worked at the hip eagle and got back into photography + started as a worship leader
- Strive to have childlike faith: in every situation I try to look at it from God’s perspective and laugh at the craziness instead of worry. I also dream very big and get so excited over the little things like I did when I was a kid (thankful to have a husband who does this with me and allows me to be silly).
- Asking God for help sounds easy but for me it wasn’t. I felt like I had to do it on my own to make him proud…(it would take a whole chapter to talk about how backwards this is). Now, everything I do I ask God for help, even the smallest things. I also started asking for help more at work and I have learned so much. It is amazing what can come from just being vulnerable.
I plan to continue doing all of these things into my 26th year of life and I am so excited!!!!! 🙂 Talk soon, Case
